38 Weeks!

Merry Christmas Eve!
The baby bump is all dressed up in green and pearls for the Holidays!
And he is getting bigger by the day!
Truly!
Hope he doesn't mind all the girly sparkle and pearls!
Almost time now!
Kisses,
K

Early Christmas Exchange

The Husband and I were having a bit of a rough week so we decided to exchange some of our Christmas gifts early this year.
Also, he had a surprise for me that's he's been asking if he should give it to me early for weeks he was so excited about it... Too cute! So I finally caved and as always, he nailed it!
So thoughtful!
I got three books that I've been wanting and the "Dream it! Do It!" copy by Imagineer and Disney Legend Marty Sklar is signed! (I don't know if you remember but we got the privilege of meeting him and seeing him speak recently. Link here.)
The Victoria Finlay book is an amazing weaving of the worlds gems and gem trades. And "The Art and Flair of Mary Blair" is another Disney treasure about the amazing and prolific artist Mary Blair.
I also got some Lilly Pulitzer jammy pants that I love!
A Lancome perfume I've been wanting, Trésor La Nuit. It's the latest iteration in their Trésor series which I love and am not allergic to. Win win!
And...
A very cool map necklace from The Weekend Store that he found.
It's a little locket with a map of Florence, Italy on it which happens to be the place where we met. Very romantic and sweet!

And lastly, the gift he'd been dying to give me.

The push-mas-versary gift as we've dubbed it. My push present since I'm due January 8th, my Christmas present, and my five year anniversary present (on January 23rd).

A pair of WOW diamond stud earrings in one of my all time favorite cuts.
The classic Asscher cut. Needless to say I LOVE them!
And I love that I'll be able to wear them with our new baby without fear of them getting ripped or tugged out like most jewelry is around babies.
They'll help keep me feeling sparkly and stylish no matter how much baby puke I get on me, lol.
Perfect gift!
Feeling a bit spoiled over here and enjoying it!
Kisses,
K

Love My Jacks!

I got some super fun mail today!
Jack Rogers sandals! Perfect for Florida girl living!

I'm loving these multi glitter jelly ones the most! So easy to throw on in our wet weather, for the pool, or the beach while still feeling spiffy.

Now I just have to wait for my oh so very pregnant piggies to stop swelling so I can actually wear shoes again, lol. Barefoot and pregnant is unfortunantley more than just a saying for me at the moment... Only a few more weeks to go!

Kisses,

K

I'm Really a Mermaid...

So... I love Disney. I love mermaids and water. And I love the movie The Little Mermaid...
Which means I I just had to order these Little Mermaid inspired Mickey ears by Wicked Ears to wear in the parks!
A perk of being a pass holder is getting to pop in whenever able and to wear fun, fabulous, silly things you wouldn't usually wear as an adult.
And with all this sparkle?

These ears are truly fabulous!

Definitely go to the lovely Etsy store Wicked Ears and check them out if your a Mickey ear fan like me! Her work really ups the ante!

I can't wait to throw on some mermaid inspired Lilly Pulitzer and these ears for a park day when my preggo butt feels up to it!

Kisses,

K

You're A Gem cheer up card

My Mother is about to undergoing a major reconstructive surgery on her badly damaged leg soon. She was in a terrible car accident where someone ran a stop sign and hit her last year just before Christmas.
It was awful!
On that Note:
PLEASE FOLLOW TRAFFIC LAWS!
STOP at all stop signs and please do NOT text while driving!
You can ruin your own and someone else's life!

Needless to say it's been a very long and painful road with no end in sight just yet... (Prayers are always appreciated!)
So to try to cheer her up and make her smile I made her a witty little get well card before the surgery.
Because, "Life can be rocky when you're a gem."
I'm hoping it will lift her spirits and make her smile!
She is such a trooper and such an inspiration!
She needs all the smiles she can get to get through the day so hopefully this adds another one!

Oh! Christmas Tree...

Hi! I disappeared again... But now I'm back! Sort of...

After loads of traveling I've been feeling quite a bit under the weather... So of course that means I've ended falling down a few internets rabbit holes...

When I came across this epic chandelier Christmas tree I had to know more and clicked on through! Apparently it's amazing design harkens from the brain of The House That Lars Built blogger's friend named Mary...

While I couldn't seem to find much more on Mary herself, (Très mysterious no...) I really suggest you click through to here and check out more of this amazing-ness!

I'm still pretty beat but couldn't help but pop in to share this!

I'm thinking there needs to be some chandelier thrifting in my future so I can try my hand at this someday... Ahhh... So much pretty!

So in love with this!

Kisses,

K

P.S.,

I hope all the Americans had the most wonderful Thanksgiving! We all have so many blessings and reasons to give thanks everyday, even the bad ones, if we just look for them!

(All images taken by Trisha Zemp and found via The House That Lars Built. Super genius creative Mary remains a mystery to me thus far but if you have more info please let me know!)
