Bits of my Summer...

So... I totally dropped off the face of the internets this summer... Between being sick regularly (ugh...) and super busy I didn't seem to have enough time to live online and offline so I chose off. :) In the spirit of sharing though I'm making a re-newed effort to get back to this space.

This Fall finds me starting new classes and endeavors and busier than ever but that also means I have tons to share! So, I'm starting with the cool stuff from this summer and then I'll work my way forward.

Here are some random bits:

We watched Fourth of July Fireworks via a pontoon boat on Bay Lake over at Disney World.

It was pretty epic in my opinion!

We got silly with our sweet crazy pup!

We watched some amazing sunsets.

I celebrated my birthday in style, thanks to my spectacular Husband and lovely family! (Here's to 31!)

Had more Abigail the Westie time!

Enjoyed Florida wildlife despite the heat.

Which included the loveliest family of cranes! (They're under the tree in the distance, I didn't want Abigail to scare them off.)

Enjoyed all the beautiful nature here.

Saw some magical moons.

And were continuously blown away by the colors of Florida's sunsets.

Stunning!

My Baba's Birthday

My Baba turned 79 earlier this month.

It's been a rough past few years for her and we're all so happy to have her living near us now we just had to celebrate!

My Aunt Karen (she's the original KJ) out in Calofornia posted this on her Instagram for me to share with my Baba.

And my sister and I made these cupcakes to celebrate over at my parents' house.

They were Strawberry Lemonade with a passion fruit strawberry center.

Baba loved them!

My mom lit the all the candles...

 

And everyone sang.

 

Then the other two recent birthday boys joined in to help her blow all those candles out!

It was a good night!

Happy Birthday Littlest Brother!

Today is the baby of the family's 25th birthday!

I remember taking big sister classes to learn how to care for a new baby.

I remember sitting in the hospital waiting room with my Baba and other siblings watching TGIF* while he was being born.

And I remember meeting him and falling in love, changing diapers, singing silly songs, helping with homework, driving him and his friends around, and doing cool big sister things like taking him to concerts.

Now's he's married and on his way in life. And 25! Crazy...

Wow. Time really flys by! It's hard to believe that my baby brother is a quarter if a century!

You've come so far and still have so much to look forward to, hope your birthday is fantastical!

*Do you remember TGIF? It was a line up of family friendly tv shows every Friday night, like Family Matters. (You know, that show that had Urkel.) It was awesome. TV should bring it back!

Today is my Baba's 79th birthday! (Baba is a Polish nickname for Grandmother.) and I'm so excited that we get to celebrate with her!

She's fabulously sassy, fun, and incredibly loving! And she loves sequins or a good bit of sparkle... Can't go wrong there!

Happy Birthday Jennifer!

Today is not just Valentine's Day, it's also my lovely sister in laws birthday!

I was super excited to help surprise her for her birthday earlier this week on Wednesday.

Unbeknownst to her, her Mother and brother flew down from Ohio and I picked them up at the airport and took them over to the house.

This is what happened:

Oh Happy Day; Birthday

Today is my eldest sister's birthday today!

She is wonderful big sister and a vivacious, caring, and all around lovely person inside and out!

She volunteers at the oncology ward at her local children's hospital (among other places), just graduated nursing school, and is also a successful promotional model.

She's the type of girl who was president of her sorority and loves a bit of sparkle but is super intelligent and kind hearted. In short, I'm lucky to have her as my sister! (She just got engaged to a great guy this year too and will be getting married in Hawaii in January!) She sounds pretty fantastic doesn't she?

So, please join me in wishing her the Happiest of Birthdays!
