Tuesday Things
Today was a rather nice day overall.
Started the day out with a lovely morning walk in the sunshine.
Abigail, my westie, loves walking by the pond.
And she is all set for October with her spiffy new Martha Stewart Halloween collar.
After that I was off to Disney for a pedicure.
I went to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It's so beautiful there!
This is the room where you wait for your service to begin at. They serve teas, snacks, and spa water. It's cozy and relaxing.
And of course I brought along some reading.
Relaxation...
I went with a purple shade called "Drop Dead Gorgeous."
Then it was on to the next adventure...
Getting six 36 inch round balloons blown up! This sweet guy at the grocery store was such a good sport about it too! He even helped me stuff them into my car, lol.
If you want to see a ton of people smile and be happy apparently all you need to do is get some ginormous balloons and voilà!
The balloons and I just barely fit for the drive home.
Forget 99 red balloons. I'm into 6 giant blue ones!
Why the balloons? For a maternity shoot the husband and I are doing tomorrow. Hopefully they'll work out well!
Next came a super yummy mozzarella panini that was too pretty not to snap a pic of.
And then the pup and I went on our evening walk.
It's even starting to look a little like Fall!
For Florida that is.
It's still 76 degrees Fahrenheit, sunny, and very much mostly green.
The sunset was rather lovely this evening too.
Then...
I finished my evening by making 30 thank you cards to mail out to all the sweet family and friends who attended our gender reveal party in Wisconsin earlier this Fall. (I know, I'm suuuper behind on everything... But I'll get there!)
More on that later though.
All in all a wonderfull Tuesday!

26 Weeks!
We are at 26 weeks today and the bump is getting big!
So much left to do to prep for our little prince and so much left to unpack! Time is just flying by.
I can feel him moving more and more all the time now. It is one of the absolute best things in this entire world for sure!

Welcome October
Happy Fall Ya'll!
I'm hoping to get back to blogging again and I have sooo much to share! So much has happened! (New/ First home purchased, baby due in January!) But for now, baby steps...
October started off quietly and lovely.
Abby slept in while I unpacked more in our new home.
Then the Husband and I headed over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge for dinner.
It's one of my favorite places to visit and eat. It just feels magical and calm there.
For dinner I had the Cedar Plank salmon... Sooo good!
All in all it was a lovely laid back day.
Here's to hopefully being able to blog again and to a happy autumn for all!

Love is in the Air...
Just some Valentine's bits and bobs...
Updated my mani with my favorite red lately (Ciatè's Mistress, love the color not the name...) and some fun nail art using the items that came in my Ciatè Mini Mani Manor advent calendar in December. Got a little crazy with the pearls but I like it.
Ate some pre V-day macaroons.
Fell in LOVE with this Kate Spade NY clutch that I saw on the @martha_weddings Instagram account. Hopefully this is something they'll produce to sell? (Fingers crossed!)
She has me totally charmed!
I finished a sparkly pink birthday card for my sweet sister in law who loves pink and was born on Valentine's day!

I also set up our Valentine gift spread so when the Husband comes home tomorrow after call it's all ready for him!

A few January Things...
So... My health regularly cause me to fall off the proverbial end of the earth... But...
I always come back!

As always since sweet and crazy Abigail came into our lives our days were filled with adorable puppy snuggles! Here she's sporting a sweater from her Grandma (My Moma).
Went to downtown Winter Park a bunch.
Really loved the design books at the Pottery Barn there!
Zebras?!?! Scalandré ones at that?!?! I'm sooo in!

Also greatly enjoyed this Morrocan Wedding Blanket pillow.
Now onto my latest obsession,
The Grove in Winter Park.
This store is a gem for sure!
But with my little nephew on the way my faves consisted of Mom and me cuteness I think my sister would love! (Not that many boy options out there folks! Needs changed!)
And this sweet as southern tea illustrated poem by Sarah Hanna.
