Hawaii

Been on the plane at the gate for over an hour but this pic makes me think of what's ahead!
It's from Instagram and I'm trying to find the where I saved the photo credits. I will post them once I find them but will hopefully be flying by them!
Hopeful Aloha Kisses,

Holiday Break

I hope you're all having a magically fabulous holiday with those that you love!
I've got family flying in from Illinois this afternoon and am lucky enough to have them here till the 3rd!
Then I have two weeks of festivities for my big sister's wedding!
Eeep! So excited!

Life is about to get crazy-busy-wonderful here for a little bit so I'll only be posting here sporadically till things slow down.

I'll still be Instagramming all the things I love and love to share over here at KismetByKrista though. (FYI: That means copious amounts of my sweet puppy.)

In the meantime, above I give you Cinderella's castle all dressed up and twinkly for Christmas!

Hope you're Holiday feels twinkly too!

Kisses,

K

My Brother's Wedding

My youngest brother got married this summer on June 15th!
His bride is the sweetest thing ever and I'm so excited and happy to have her as a sister now!
The wedding was a gorgeous affair at Church Street Station in Orlando, a beautiful historic Victorian building full of gilding and stained glass. (I'll post more on the location another time.)
The wedding was touching, lovely, and a blast! Just what a wedding should be.
Here's a little peek below:
The dress. So pretty. (Also note the rich wood and gilded wall coverings.)
The bridal party was large but close and I was honored to be a part of it. I'm second on the left from the bride, one of only two tall girls, the rest were adorable shorties. Such a fun group of girls too!
Obligatory silly sibling shot (I've got one of the groom's legs and am holding my bouquet up in the air). "Quick! Everyone pick up the (6'4") groom!" Yeah, that was my goofy idea... He's the baby after all, no seriously, he's the youngest. :) His nickname from me is, ironically enough, small child. From when he actually was.

The lovely flowers that my Aunt put together. The bride wanted pink, pink, and more pink with French flair.

Photo booth with the sisters! The bride and groom picked out an Effiel Tower they liked and put it in front of a black background. And the props? They're was a box full of fun. Not to toot my own horn but I made all the props myself... Toot. Toot.

Perhaps I'll post more later? For now though I think this is a lovely little bit of loveliness.

Kisses,

K

Happy 2nd Anniversary, Husband!

Happy Anniversary Husband! We've now been married for two years and despite all the ups and (many) downs we keep moving forward, together. And that's the most important and wonderful part of our fairytale, the together!

I'll never forget traipsing about the Magic Kingdom Park (we got married at the Boardwalk Hotel at Disney World) with you the morning after our wedding, taking photos, having a blast, and being oh so in love despite being so very tired (the shoot happened around 4am).

We met in Italy, rendezvoused in Florida and Chicago, I moved from Florida to Chicago, we moved to Seattle, we moved around Seattle (a lot in fact), now we're visiting Hawaii, and wondering where on this earth we will live come July when your residency is done... (Whew!) But no matter where it is, where we've gone, what we do, or where we go... We'll do it, together!

Kisses,

Your KJ
