Que C'est Joli!

The moment I laid eyes on the new Nars Guy Bourdin inspired Lip Kit in Fling I knew it needed to be mine! So I went online to the Nars website and scooped this lovely up!

Between the chic lip case (which I totally plan to use as a cute clutch this holiday season) and the awesome array of Nars lippies inside it's a pretty fantastic set.

Nars makes my some of my favorite lip products. The colors and finishes are always super fab! The fun names don't hurt either.

This set contains: Roman Holiday Lipstick, Baroque Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil, Damage Lipstick, and Dolce Vita Velvet Matte Lip Pencil.

 

I can't wait to try them all! Definitely money well spent.

What I Wore: Outfits Details

Today felt crisp enough for more knit wear so I went for it! (Now that I live inFlorida again these things excite me...)

Outfit details: Benefeit They're real mascara, my fave Poppy King for J Crew orange red lipstick (I stocked up before they were gone!), Honora pearl earrings, black diamond sharks-tooth necklace, a curated and created by me charm necklace and chain with vintage and new charms, vintage diamond ring from my grandmother, Michou carnelian ring, and hand forged by me fine silver rings.

Que C'est Joli!*

Fall is in the air and I'm psyched to start switching over my makeup routine as well as my clothes. One of the trends I'm looking forward to indulging in once it gets colder is oxblood lips and nails. In the meantime, though, I'm going to dip my toe into the fall color palette pool with some new metallic plummy eyeshadows by Estèe Lauder.

 

 

It's the Pure Color shadow in Steel Lilacs, though it strikes me as less lilac and more plum, but to each their own...

 

Plus check out the foil effect on the center shade. So pretty, right?

 

I can't wait to try it out!

What I Wore: Blue Jean Baby...

I may not be a seamstress or an L.A. lady but today I'm feeling the blue jean vibe.

Outfit Details:

My favorite limited edition French Blue Raybans, Seven jean shorts, Estèe Lauder lipgloss in Flashdance for a pop of pink, and some dangly pearl earrings by Honora.

Simple and easy but with chic flair, perfect for warm Florida days and nights.

Outfit Details: Feeling Blue

 

Blue is my fave color and this outfit was an all blue affair with just a pop of pink on the lips:

Blue striped linen shorts (past season), navy blue hand me down tank, limited edition French Blue Ray-bans (past season), Ippolita turquoise and sterling necklace (present from the Husband), no brand sterling pyramid stud earrings, and Kate Spade Supercalifragilipstick Pop Art Pink lippie.
